What Are Pearly Penile Papules?

Pearly penile papules, also known as hirsuties coronae glandis or hirsuties papillaris genitalis, are small flesh-colored skin tags commonly found on the sulcus or corona of the male genitals. In plain terms, they appear on the rim and underside of the glans.

Round and bumpy to threadlike in shape, they frequently appear in one or several rows, like the pearls in a necklace. They do not break open or pop like pimples. Neither are they painful, burning, or irritating, although some men find they produce an uncomfortable sensation.
